I have been living at Wyndemere Senior Living for nearly 3 months. I want to commend the administration and staff for their welcoming spirit. They assisted me to navigate the transition from being a homeowner to becoming a new member of the Wyndemere senior living community.
Wyndemere has a Move-In Coordinator on staff and she was a great help with the countless details of the complex moving process. She was attentive to me and very generous with her time and energy. In addition, Wyndemere has a list of trusted vendors that are available to be hired to assist any future resident. I am happy that I utilized several of these companies.
The Downsizing By Design team helped me with organizing and packing items to be given to charity. Then they packed up my possessions and unpacked my boxes when I arrived in my new apartment. They also coordinated with Carlson Brothers Movers for the actual move and my furniture and boxes arrived safely. They managed a hectic day for me and I slept in my own bed that night.
I worked with an interior designer, CM Design, to select furniture items to be reupholstered and to review the floor plan in advance of the move. In addition, I used this service to order new furniture, select fabrics for wall coverings and to frame and hang photographs. My apartment has become my new home already.
The team at Moving Station prescreened realtors familiar with my neighborhood and presented two for me to interview. The realtor I selected was easy to work with and enabled me to close my home sale in a realistic and efficient manner.
Having made such a life-changing decision, my experience has been positive and I am happy in my new apartment. I have met some of my new neighbors and joined an exercise class.
